Margaret Blevins Recognized for 20 Years of ServiceOCC Chairman Rick Jeans and Executive Director Mike Thralls presented Margaret Blevins with a 20-year Service Award at the December Meeting of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission. Margaret Blevins began working for the Water Quality Division in April 2000 as a temporary, part-time data entry clerk. The position evolved into a permanent, full-time position as the Water Quality Data Manager. She is responsible for managing the data that is collected by our field specialists and Blue Thumb volunteers. Her duties include data entry, data retrieval, Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities, routine programming, as well as supervising a part-time data entry clerk. Most recently she has spent a good part of her time facilitating the importation of our data into EPA’s database STORET. Previously she had worked for the Cleveland County District Attorney's office for 15 years. |
