Employee of the Quarter: Shanon Phillips

In May the Conservation Commission's recently-formed Employee Awards & Recognition Committee announced the winner of the first-ever OCC Employee of the Quarter Award. At the June meeting of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, Shellie Willoughby, OCC GIS coordintor and committee chair, along with Commission Chairman Rick Jeans and Executive Director Mike Thralls, presented the award to Shanon Phillips. Phillips was recently named assistant director of the Water Quality Division.

An excerpt from Shanon’s nomination form read “Shanon knows more about the workings of the water quality division than just about anyone. Despite her vast knowledge and experience, Shanon maintains an incredibly down-to-earth, friendly demeanor. Her upbeat, cheerfully personality definitely contributes to workplace harmony and teamwork.”
